چکیده

Preterm labor is known as delivery prior to 37 completed weeks of gestation. Because 10% total labors are preterm and 70% neonatal mortality caused by this problem, a significant problem in obstetrics, pediatrics & midwifery. This study aims at comparing the efficacy well adverse effects profile (human chorionic gonadotropin hormone magnesium sulphate) suppression labor. was designed prospective comparative randomized clinical trial done from 4th April 1st September 2020. The population included pregnant women with labor, who were admitted Salah Al Din General Hospital, Tikrit city. Sixty two cases consented (Informed written consent obtained all patients) randomly allocated 2 different intervention groups, named A B. Group B consisted 30 32 women, respectively. All labour room baseline investigations done. A: For patients group received an intravenously loading dose 4 g (1 g/min) Magnesium sulphate. continual infusion per 1 hr then administrated. continued until 12 h uterine quiescence B: (32 women), intramuscular injection Human Chorionic Gonadotropin administered initial 5000 IU. Half hourly assessment contractions, maternal vital signs, fetal heart rate monitoring under hospital 24 end drug infusion. Also, both groups Betamethasone, mg every for doses. Patients control pregnancy. It foun that Delay Labour ≥21 day higher among (68.8%) than MgSO4 (60%), within <2 days HCG (9.4%) (6.7%). mean duration hours time start treatment sulphate contraction (2.9±0.08) lower (3.11±0.13). commonest side effect thirst (50%), hyperthermia (46.67), head ache (30%), dizziness while there no except single case complained (3.13%), concluded better stopping faster onset action but had mothers more Gonadotropin.

Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) versus magnesium sulfate to arrest preterm

Introduction: Considering the high incidence of preterm labor and its known complications, and that human myometrium contains receptors for human chronic gonadotropin (hCG) and that hCG can inhibit myometrial contractions on vitro, made me study treating effects of hCG on preterm labor. This clinical trial study was carried out to compare the effect of hCG, and magnesium sulfate (mgso4) on pre...

P-234: Expression of Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) Hormone Using Chinese Hamster Ovary Cells

Background: Human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) is a member of glycoprotein hormones family consist of two different non-covalently heterodimeric chains: alpha and beta subunits with 92 and 145 amino acids respectively. This hormone plays an important role in human reproduction and physiology especially for maintenance of the corpus luteum during the first months of pregnancy Materials and Metho...

The Correlation of the Follicular Fluid Levels of Anti-Mullerian Hormone and Beta Human Chorionic Gonadotropin with Oocyte Matura-tion

Background: Follicular fluid (FF) plays a key role in preparing a microenvironment for the development and fertilization of oocytes. Moreover, biochemical and hormonal changes in the FF surrounding the oocyte can affect its quality and successful fertilization. The present study was conducted to investigate the relationship of beta human chorionic gonadotropin (beta-HCG) and anti-mullerian horm...

Reproductive responses of dairy cows with ovarian cysts to simultaneous human chorionic gonadotropin or gonadotropin-releasing hormone and cloprostenol compared to gonadotropin-releasing hormone alone treatment.

AIM Bovine ovarian cysts are a common cause of economic loss in modern dairy herds. The objective of the present study was to evaluate the reproductive responses to three protocols using hCG, GnRH and cloprostenol when the definite diagnosis of the type of ovarian cyst is/is not possible in dairy cows. MATERIALS AND METHODS A total of 144 lactating dairy cows with ovarian cysts were divided i...
